Take the reader survey
Survey Results so far...
Ever wonder what people respond in the reader survey? OK, probably not. But just in case, here's a collection of some of the results. The more recent episodes are somewhat under-represented, since some of the responses are from before they were written. --The Author
Total responses: 34
Favorite
Episode: #3 "Two is Better than One", thanks to overwhelming
support from the girls! Guys favored #14 "Keep it Simple, Sarah".
Least Favorite: #1 "Juliana and the Non-Stop Hiccups".
I guess someday I should reorder these and put a better foot forward!
Favorite Character: Hannah, followed by Sarah, although the
girls' favorite is Chris

comments:
"We get to know the characters pretty well. I like that a lot." --
EC from the Midwest
"I just love your stories because I can see the time that you spend on
them and their plots and it is really wonderful. Just hearing the different
stories and scenarios is so wonderful! Thank you!!" -- Sarah
"They are just so realistic. I really can imagine all of this happening."
-- Gavin from England
"I love all of the character's personalities! These stories are modest
and fun unlike most of the other hiccup stories out there." -- Kimberly
from Colorado
"I just love the whole idea of Hannah. Here's this ordinary, really nice
girl who can barely make it through a day without getting a bad case of the
hiccups; most of the time she doesn't let it bother her, but every now and then...
well, she's human. It's just so sweet." -- Emily from Washington
Other comments
and suggestions:
"Your stories are ok but i think there could be a big improvement."
--Jake from England (Improvement is always my goal, that's why I'm always looking
for suggestions!)
"Have them gradually come to enjoy their hiccups." -- Chris from PA
"I would love to see a story centered around Mrs Beloit having the hiccups.
Perhaps the kids could try to help her cure them?" -- Keith from Boston
(This became part of #10 "Just in Time")
"If you ever have time on your hands...and could possibly write out my
fantasy...one of the boys getting the hiccups...in the back of the movie theatre...on
a date with his girlfriend...if you ever get around to it...thanks!" --
Sarah from Canada (Became part of #11 "Last Night")
Best suggestion:
"I would love to see these stories made into a television series. Please
hire some hiccupping actors and let's make this a television comedy. I would
definitely watch it!" -- Gavin from England (Anyone out there got connections
in the television world? :-P)
